Exhibition Highlights Journey to the Dream

In March 2019 Nizhny Novgorod Exhibition Center saw the opening of the project exhibition which was named Journey to the Dream. The exhibition was divided into two parts with an opening on March 7 and a final event on March 26 which included a performance of selected album pieces by Immersive chamber orchestra.

On the opening day the visitors were able to enjoy the art pieces created by Alexander Denisov, art objects used during the Knight and Knight video shooting and the poems which accompanied the art pieces of the exhibition.
The exhibition also had some new and never before seen art objects prepared especially for this event. Those were a Sacred Sword, the last of the symbolic art elements created by a Nizhny Novgorod craftsman Vasily Dmitriev. The sword was created for the album photoshoot and for future shootings.

The painting named Knight and Ashes created by an artist and an art teacher Marina Mitina in memory of Alexander took a special place in the exhibition. The painting is not included into the album but it appears as a backstory of the main character. It plays an essential role for the whole project. Thanks to this painting, Marina and Ilya both extended Knight’s character and described Alexander Denisov lifepath whose biography was set as a foundation for Knight and Wolf album’s (2018) plot.

The exhibition was prepared for English speaking audience too. The key element of the English version was the sonnets interpreted by a professional linguist and interpreter Artyom Vanteev.
The key event of the exhibition took place on March 26 when the visitors gathered to see and hear the music album performance.

At the beginning of the event Alexey Makarov, actor and head of the theatre school Obraz recited the project's sonnets. Earlier Alexey voiced all the sonnets for our recorded version of audiobook that were published a few weeks before the exhibition opening.

Then the chamber orchestra Immersive headed by Anastasia Tuzova performed three selected music pieces of the album: In the Arms of Light, Knight and Night and Alone.

We prepared a short video coverage of this event. The exhibition was held thanks to the help and support of our partners and friends from Nizhny Novgorod and other cities.
